About the job

Archway Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic Talent Manager to join their Wellington office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Talent Manager looking for a new home!

You'll be joining an award-winning recruitment consultancy with ambitious growth plans. As a business, Archway Recruitment provide recruitment services to clients in the Built and Corporate Sectors and we're after a Talent Manager to support our Accounting and HRIS/Payroll Team.

About The Role

This role will see you working collaboratively and supporting the Archway business with a range of tasks to help us provide a better service to our clients and candidates. You'll be working directly alongside an experienced Director and a supportive team who will help get you up to speed. Day-to-day, you'll be performing tasks such as:

  • Attracting candidates and matching them to permanent, contract and fixed term positions within your area of specialism.
  • Providing a vital link between consultants and candidates, attracting the best talent in the market to the right roles.
  • Holding candidate interviews over MS Teams or in person over a coffee.
  • Proactively managing our database to maintain candidate pools for suitable roles.
  • Preparing CVs and drafting candidate summaries for presentation to clients.
  • Preparing and Posting Job Advertisements, and managing candidate responses.
  • Managing candidate compliance and references.
  • Assisting with proactive marketing of candidate profiles.

For the right candidate who comes with a bit more experience and a passion for systems and process, we are open to a more senior role oriented toward those tasks. We are on our AI journey already, however we believe there are significant opportunities for us to develop systems and processes, particularly with regards to the integration of AI, and also to be a systems champion too.

About You

Successful recruiters come from a range of backgrounds. If you're down-to-earth and have a genuine interest in building your own career and helping others in building theirs, then it's worthwhile applying! • You'll be a people person who enjoys working with and helping others.
  • You'll have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • You'll take pride in your professional presentation (we're not suited and booted though, smart casual here!)
  • You'll be ambitious and self-motivated, and looking for a place to grow your career.
  • You'll have excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as a great sense of humour.
  • Ideally you'll also possess a tertiary qualification, however this isn't essential to be considered for this role.

Experience in the recruitment industry is naturally highly valued, but isn't a prerequisite to applying.
