Where does the job ad come from?

Any job site. Copy the whole ad, from the job title down, and paste it in. With Pro, you can send it straight from the page with the SmartCVs extension for Chrome. SmartCVs works from the ad's own text, so every requirement it lists quotes the sentence it came from.

How is the match score worked out?

From your profile, by a fixed formula rather than by the AI's opinion. Each requirement counts by how much the job needs it: essentials count in full, nice-to-haves for less. A skill you only list earns part of the credit, and one your roles, study or certifications show earns all of it. 80% and above is a Strong match, 40% and above is Worth a go, and under 40% is A stretch.

Does it make things up?

No. It rewords and reorders what's already in your profile. It has no way to add an employer you never worked for, and if a rewrite adds a number your record doesn't have, it's thrown out. Every CV comes with a list of what changed.

Can I change the tailored CV?

Yes. Edit any line, drag sections into a different order, and choose a look (Modern, Classic or Minimal), the spacing and a colour. Then download it as PDF or Word.

How many tailored CVs can I make?

The free plan gives you 3 job scans a week, and every scan comes with a tailored CV and cover letter. Pro has no weekly limit. Tailored CVs are kept with their jobs and never count against the CVs your plan lets you keep.

Will employers know I used AI?

There's no watermark or SmartCVs label on your CV or cover letter. Everything in them is your own experience, and you can edit any line so it sounds like you before you send it.
