Will it make things up?
No. It writes only from the experience you give it, and anything it would need but doesn't have, such as the hiring manager's name, is left in [square brackets] for you. Any number that isn't in what you pasted is replaced with a placeholder before you see it.
Is it really free?
Yes. There's nothing to sign up for and no card to enter. There's a limit of a few free goes a day on each device, so the tools stay fast for everyone. A free SmartCVs account does the same for every job you apply to.
What happens to what I paste?
It's used to answer you, and kept for 30 days so we can look into anything that goes wrong, then deleted. It's never sold, and never used to train AI: the model that writes the answer runs with providers that don't keep what they're sent.
