About the job
Fixed Term | Term 4 | Approximately 6 hours per week
We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable and enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join our online college for Term 4.
Working alongside our Learning Leaders, you will support learners to engage confidently and successfully in their learning. The role will include supporting online classes, facilitating small-group activities, providing 1:1 assistance, and working alongside learners who may benefit from additional support to access and participate fully in their learning.
We are looking for someone who:
- Builds positive, respectful relationships with young people.
- Is patient, compassionate and responsive to individual learners.
- Works collaboratively and effectively as part of a teaching and learning team.
- Communicates clearly and confidently with both learners and Learning Leaders.
- Is comfortable using digital tools and technology to support learning.
- Can adapt their approach to meet a range of learning needs.
This is a fixed-term position for Term 4, approximately 6 hours per week across eight weeks (50 hours in total).
