Description
Role Summary
Covering an internal secondment for a minimum of 9 months, with genuine potential to extend for a significant period, this role sits within an established procurement function.
You will act as the primary procurement partner to senior technology stakeholders, leading commercial engagements and driving sourcing strategies across a complex portfolio of technology suppliers and platforms at a time when the business is undergoing significant technology transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial sourcing strategies across technology categories and supplier portfolios
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract engagements for key technology suppliers
- Build strong relationships with functional leaders to understand their objectives and translate these into procurement outcomes
- Drive supplier performance activity and manage risk across the category
- Identify and deliver cost, value, and efficiency improvements
Key Skills And Experience Required
- Solid experience in a senior procurement or supplier-focused commercial roles within a large or corporate organisation
- Strong technology procurement experience is essential
- Proven ability to lead commercial engagements and negotiate complex supplier contracts
- Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable influencing and advising at senior levels independently
- Good working knowledge of supplier risk management and contractual frameworks
- Able to manage multiple priorities and hit the ground running with minimal oversight
