Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! This is what our Produce Department is all about. As the first thing our customers see when they walk into the store, our Produce Department sets the tone for the entire shopping experience. That’s why presentation, freshness and quality are our top priorities. With our current Assistant Manager moving on to a new opportunity, we’re looking for someone to step into this important role. Working closely with our Produce Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day running of this busy department. We are looking for someone who can confidently lead a team, thrive in a fast-paced environment and uphold our high standards of presentation, quality, availability, food safety and customer service. You’ll enjoy juggling multiple tasks, have a sharp eye for detail and be happy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in. This is a hands-on role, so a good level of fitness and the ability to comfortably lift up to 20kg is essential. This is a full-time Tuesday to Saturday role. Hours to be discussed at the interview.
