The Opportunity:
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and optimise our company’s procurement activities for services and corporate products across multiple departments and divisions. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, this is a unique opportunity to partner with senior stakeholders, drive procurement excellence, and make a tangible impact across a global business network.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Leadership
- Develop
and implement procurement strategies that support organisational objectives.
- Drive
procurement planning and category management initiatives.
- Monitor
supplier markets and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
- Deliver
procurement savings and value creation opportunities. Supplier & Contract Management
- Lead
end-to-end sourcing and supplier selection processes.
- Negotiate
commercial agreements and supplier contracts.
- Build
strong supplier partnerships that ensure continuity of supply and service.
- Measure
and improve supplier performance across cost, quality and delivery metrics. Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Analyse
procurement performance and spending trends.
- Implement
systems, tools and processes that improve efficiency.
- Drive
continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives.
- Support
forecasting, budgeting and commercial decision making. About You:
You will be an experienced commercially savvy Procurement Manager able to take the lead of procurement strategy for a diverse portfolio of indirect categories and corporate services across our organisation. You are relationship focused and someone who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen. You're comfortable influencing stakeholders, navigating complex negotiations, and turning data into meaningful business decisions.
You'll bring:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in a related discipline
- Proven experience in a Procurement Manager, Category Manager, or Procurement Leadership role
- Significant experience leading complex commercial negotiations across an organisation
- Strong supplier relationship and stakeholder management capability
- Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts
- Advanced analytical skills, including strong Microsoft Excel capability
- Financial management, forecasting and reporting experience
- A solutions-focused approach with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive outcomes
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
