About the job
We're excited to announce an opportunity for an Outbound Logistics Supervisor to join our Logistics team. This role can be based in either Christchurch or Invercargill and reports to the Outbound Logistics & Distribution Manager.
This is a key leadership position responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of Alliance products across New Zealand and international markets. You'll lead a team focused on delivering excellent service outcomes while ensuring our outbound logistics operations run safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and supporting the Outbound Logistics team in their day-to-day activities.
- Coordinating product movements across transport providers, ports, storage facilities and third-party logistics partners.
- Monitoring logistics performance and contributing to operational reporting and insights.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, transport providers and customers.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, processes and health and safety requirements.
About You
You will be an experienced logistics or supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leading people to achieve results.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in logistics, transport, supply chain or distribution operations.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
