About the Role
As an Inventory Data Administrator, you will provide accurate and efficient inventory data and administration support to Supply Chain teams across district and hospital sites. You will play an important role in maintaining high-quality inventory information and ensuring our systems support effective stock management and supply chain operations.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining inventory information within Oracle, FPIM and other relevant systems, including item master data, sub-inventory locations, bin locations, ordering rules and stock levels. You will also support product changes and recalls, create requisitions and transfers, monitor purchase orders and assist with stock optimisation activities.
Using your analytical and problem-solving skills, you will investigate inventory discrepancies, unit-of-measure issues, invoice holds and catalogue inconsistencies. You will extract and analyse inventory information, support stocktakes and cycle counts, and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and achieve greater operational efficiency.
About the Team/Service/Location
You will be part of the Supply Chain team and report to the District Distribution Manager, working closely with inventory, implementation, clinical product and unit management stakeholders. You will also engage with suppliers, third-party logistics providers and other internal and external customers to support effective inventory management and service delivery.
This is a collaborative and service-focused environment where accurate inventory information is critical to ensuring the right products are available to support healthcare services when and where they are needed.
About You
You are organised, analytical and detail-focused, with practical inventory experience and the ability to confidently work with large amounts of inventory data. You enjoy investigating issues, finding solutions and building effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
You will bring:
- Proven experience using ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- At least 12 months' experience in warehouse inventory management, product setup and stock control.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management principles, including stock optimisation, forecasting and inventory control.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data and inventory issues.
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and communicate progress clearly and effectively.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
Experience within healthcare, the public sector or a large multi-site supply chain environment would be advantageous. Experience using FPIM, supporting product implementations or recalls, maintaining master data, and knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes would also be valuable.
