Job Description:Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

Are you interested in weekend work and enjoy being the friendly face of a busy and vibrant community?

We are seeking a Weekend Receptionist to join the team at Carlaw Park Student Village in Parnell. As part of the University's Accommodation team, you will play an important role in supporting one of New Zealand's largest student accommodation providers while helping create a positive experience for our residents and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing reception enquiries, phone calls, emails and resident requests
  • Supporting accommodation administration, including key management, mail handling and payment enquiries
  • Coordinating with contractors, cleaners and service providers to support operational requirements
  • Assisting the Resident Manager with day-to-day property operations and facilities-related activities
  • Supporting maintenance reporting, facility inspections and ensuring high presentation standards across the residence

This is a part-time (15 hours per week), permanent position. The salary range for this role is $56,550 to $67,000 (pro rata), negotiable depending on skills and experience.

The usual hours of work are Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of an unpaid lunch break.

A full description of your duties and the role are provided in the position description linked HERE.
