  • Hours will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm
  • Salary Band $73,476 and $76,551 p.a. pro-rata

About the Role

The Community Mental Health Team Administrator helps keep the Southern Rivers Community Mental Health service running smoothly by providing fast, accurate, and flexible administration support.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with other administrators and clinical teams to make sure appointments and treatments are scheduled and all patient requirements are met
  • Ensure patients, whānau and visitors experience a warm, respectful and professional contact from the service, guided by the mātāpono
  • Ensure reception and waiting areas are welcoming, clinically and culturally safe and well-presented, with information, signage or environmental issues escalated as needed
  • Provide timely and accurate confidential administration support is provided to the CNM
  • Prepare agendas and minutes are taken and distributed as directed by the CNM, ensuring correct information is communicated effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure electronic timesheets are completed to CNM's expectations for each pay cycle, being accurate, up to date and in line with employee related policies, guidelines or collective agreements.
  • Process referrals for the Southern Rivers Community Mental Health Service are received via Southern electronic systems, email, and mail within agreed timeframes
  • Check booking forms for completeness, and source any missing information from Southern electronic systems or clinical staff when necessary.
  • Protect and maintain patient information in compliance with the Health Information Privacy Code under the Privacy Act
