Are you an experienced RV Technician who enjoys supporting others, coordinating workflow and maintaining high standards? We are looking for a practical, hands-on RV Technician Team Leader to join our Rentals NZ workshop team.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will provide daily frontline leadership, coaching and coordination for our RV Technician team. You will work alongside the team to ensure vehicles are prepared, repaired and checked to a safe, fully functional and guest-ready standard, while supporting productivity, consistency and team development.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate daily workflow and allocate tasks in line with branch priorities and pre-hire demand.
- Monitor progress, respond to changing priorities and escalate issues when required.
- Complete and support pre-hire, quality and functionality checks.
- Carry out and coach RV interior and functional repairs to thl standards.
- Provide practical training, onboarding support and constructive feedback to team members.
- Promote safe work practices, correct use of PPE, tools and equipment, and accurate completion of workshop records.
- Work closely with Workshop Managers and other branch teams to keep operations flowing.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity and team culture.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong hands-on RV Technician experience, or similar relevant operational experience.
- Experience coaching, training or supporting team members on the floor.
- A sound understanding of RV preparation, vehicle functionality checks and quality standards.
- The confidence to organise work, follow up progress and adapt during busy periods.
- Clear, practical and respectful communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering safe, fully functioning vehicles.
- Comfort using checklists, job cards, workflow tools and internal systems.
- A reliable, approachable and supportive leadership style.
- A full driver’s licence.
