About the Role
As a Receptionist / Administration Support team member, you will provide a friendly, professional and efficient reception service for patients, visitors and staff coming to the Dargaville Health Hub. You will be a key point of contact, ensuring people receive a welcoming experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of hospital services.
This is a diverse role where no two days are the same. You will provide administrative support across multiple departments, coordinate outpatient and maternity administration activities, supporting patients with their appointments and patient documentation, support hospital financial processes, maintain supplies, oversee room bookings, and assist with the management of pool vehicles. Working closely with Dargaville Medical Centre and clinical teams, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to the Dargaville community.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Dargaville Health Hub provides a range of vital healthcare services to the community and wider region. As part of our Administration team, you will work alongside clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure patients, whānau and visitors receive a positive and efficient experience when accessing care. The team is collaborative, supportive and committed to improving health outcomes for the communities we serve.

About you
You will be an organised, adaptable and customer-focused administrator who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will also bring:
- Previous office administration experience and advanced computer skills
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to manage competing demands, meet deadlines and work across multiple administrative functions
- A positive, professional and collaborative approach, with a willingness to support colleagues and patients wherever need
Previous experience within the health sector would be advantageous.
