The opportunity!
We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our Highbrook Factory in our IGU department. We have morning and afternoon shifts available!
Hours: 6.00am - 2.30pm & 2.30pm - 11.00pm, Monday to Friday.
What you're there to do:
- Glass processing to specifications and quality standards
- Safe manual handling of glass
- Adhering to production targets
- Participating and contributing to site safety
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of machine operating experience. Experience in cutting is advantageous
- Previous experience working in the glass or the manufacturing industry is advantageous
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, being able to analyse and solve problems
- Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing terms such as DIFOT is advantageous
- Mechanical aptitude and approach to problem solving
- Good attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
- Effective communication & dedicated safety focus
- Physical fitness is required as some manual lifting is involved
