Do you want to start a new adventure with Alstef Group?
We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Technician to work in our team at Auckland Airport who will manage the operations and maintenance of the baggage conveyor systems.
Your Mission
- Operating the baggage system as designed and in accordance with the Service Level agreements
- Completing assigned tasks competently and efficiently
- Maintaining records fully and accurately
- Performing maintenance tasks both preventative and reactive.
Skills, Experience And Requirements
- Relevant Mechanical Trade qualification
- You must have a full drivers license in order to be applicable for this role and be able to operate the machinery required
- Elevated work platform license - preferred
- Experience with maintenance of equipment.
- Experience with welding - preferred
- Experience with the mechanical aspects of a conveyor system or other similar equipment desired
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Demonstrate work ethic and time management skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent team player
- Shift work is a requirement – 24/7 roster 02:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 02:00 - able to commit to these hours
