We’re looking for an organised and proactive Freight Office Assistant to support our depot operations and help ensure freight is processed accurately and delivered on time.

The role Based at our North Harbour branch, the Freight Office Assistant is a varied role, responsible for the timely handling of damaged, repacked and missorted parcels. You’ll work closely with courier drivers and our Operations team to ensure our customers’ freight is delivered to where it needs to be. With people at the heart of our success, you’ll enjoy the diversity of our team and our customers.

This is a part-time position.

What you’ll be doing

• Resolving customers’ parcel queries with a focus on problem-solving

• Contacting customers regarding their undeliverable freight

• Processing ticket sales

What we’re looking for

• Computer literacy – competent in data entry and MS Office Suite

• Strong organisational and prioritising skills

• Comfortable lifting within your capability (some lifting up to 25kg)

• Someone who has a keen interest in problem solving and providing solutions to customers
