As our new Technical Facilities Manager, you'll use your technical expertise to ensure our nationwide property portfolio remains safe, compliant, reliable and fit for the future.  Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the roleReporting to the National Facilities & Asset Manager, you'll provide specialist technical leadership across commercial, retail and industrial properties throughout New Zealand. You'll partner with contractors, service providers and stakeholders to drive operational excellence, asset performance and compliance outcomes.  Key responsibilities include:Managing building maintenance programmes and critical infrastructure performanceLeading technical investigations, fault finding and asset improvement initiativesEnsuring compliance with relevant NZ legislation, standards and BWOF requirementsSupporting asset lifecycle planning, capital renewal programmes and budgetingManaging contractor performance, service delivery and safety outcomesContributing to sustainability, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives  Mōu | About youYou'll be a technically capable facilities professional who enjoys solving problems, building strong relationships and driving outcomes across a complex property environment.You'll bring:At least 5 years' experience in facilities management, building services engineering or property operationsStrong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, fire, security and BMS infrastructureExperience managing maintenance contractors and service providersSound understanding of New Zealand building compliance requirementsStrong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skillsWhy join us?Work across a diverse national property portfolioJoin a team committed to safety, sustainability and continuous improvementGrow your career with an organisation that has been connecting New Zealanders for more than 180 years  Hiahia?
