The opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional people leader with local government experience to join our dedicated & collaborative resource consents team.
Reporting to the Environmental Consents Manager you will develop and maintain a healthy & vibrant team culture and play a key role in leading the team through upcoming change with Resource Management Reform. You will support our consent planners with their workloads, growth and development, and will foster strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
To set you up for success, you'll have
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills and experience.
- Strong team building skills and experience.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Exceptional relationship management skills to deliver quality and efficient services for our customers.
- Tertiary qualifications in planning or a similar discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with business improvements and customer service delivery.
