The Waitangi Treaty Grounds is Aotearoa New Zealand’s most significant historic site - a place of learning, connection, and culture. Our teams help deliver unforgettable experiences for visitors from around the world through hospitality, storytelling, performance, and exceptional service.
As summer approaches, we’re preparing for another busy season and are seeking friendly, energetic, and reliable people to join our teams in a range of casual and fixed-term part-time roles.
We’re Recruiting For Various Roles Including
- Hospitality Assistants & Baristas (fixed-term & casual): Front of House role to support café, coffee cart and event operations
- Kitchen Assistants (fixed-term & casual): Support café and event kitchen operations
- Visitor Services Assistants (fixed-term): Ensuring a welcoming experience for all, admissions and customer service
- Retail Assistants (fixed-term): Welcome manuhiri and sell special taonga; local art, pounamu and more!
- Cleaner (casual): Ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all manuhiri & staff
Requirements
- Positive, enthusiastic mindset; customer and solutions focused
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are crucial
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required (for hospo roles)
- Experience in hospitality or tourism is an advantage
