Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role

We're looking for an experienced communications professional who can bring clarity to complex issues and help shape how we communicate across the Wise Group.

As a Senior Communications Advisor, you'll partner with leaders and subject matter experts to develop communication strategies, deliver high-quality content, support organisational change, and drive engagement across a diverse range of audiences.

Working closely with our Communications, Design and Digital teams, you'll lead communications projects from concept to delivery, providing trusted advice that helps people understand what matters most.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact in a purpose-driven organisation where communications play a key role in supporting positive outcomes for people, whānau and communities.

Mōu | About you

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or a related discipline

• Significant experience delivering communications strategies, campaigns and projects

• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content

• Confidence providing strategic communications advice and influencing stakeholders at all levels

• Strong planning, judgement and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

• Experience across organisational communications, engagement, change and digital channels

• Strong cultural capability and confidence working with Māori as tangata whenua and across diverse communities

• A collaborative approach and proven ability to build trusted relationships

• Knowledge of New Zealand's health, community or social services sector would be an advantage
