The Commercial Performance Division is responsible for strategic oversight of the government's commercial entities, mixed-ownership entities, Crown Financial Institutions, and other Crown entities. We deliver expert advice on entity governance, ownership frameworks, and options to optimise financial and non-financial performance. We lead the advisory process for the government’s substantial commercial dealings, support alignment between entities and broader government objectives, and lead the Export Credit office.Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role This is an exciting time to be in the Commercial Performance Division and contribute to our work programme. The specific focus of the role will be shaped by the successful candidate’s skills, experience and development interests.Ō pūmanawa | About You We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in public sector policy. Experience with economic, commercial or regulatory policy advice would be an advantage, but is not essential. If you have experience working through critical and complex policy areas, and can use your communication, leadership, relationship and analytical skills to bring structure, momentum and delivery focus to your work, then we would like to hear from you.You will need at least 4.5 years of relevant policy experience.
