Are you an experienced automotive sales leader who knows how to motivate a team, close deals and deliver results?
Auto Collective Whangarei is looking for a driven Sales Manager to take the lead, grow our sales performance and create an exceptional customer experience across our dealership.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves people, performance and the automotive industry.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team
- Drive monthly and annual sales targets and dealership profitability
- Set clear expectations and create a strong performance culture
- Analyse sales results, conversion rates, gross profit and individual performance
- Develop sales strategies and identify new business opportunities
- Support the team with negotiations and closing deals
- Manage vehicle stock, pricing, ageing inventory and market demand
- Build strong customer relationships and drive repeat and referral business
- Forecast sales performance and report results to senior management
- Continuously look for ways to improve sales performance and customer experience
What we're looking for
We're after a proven automotive sales leader who brings:
- Previous experience in automotive sales leadership or dealership management
- A strong track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- Excellent leadership, coaching and people skills
- Strong commercial and financial understanding
- Confidence negotiating and closing deals
- A customer-first mindset
- The drive, energy and accountability to get results
- A full NZ driver's licence
