Overview
We are recruiting a Proofreader for AI projects. You will inspect final copy for typographical, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors, compare corrections with the source, and keep late changes tightly controlled.
Key Responsibilities
- Proofread final copy for typographical, grammar, and punctuation errors.
- Check spacing, headings, page elements, and repeated text for consistency.
- Compare names, figures, and corrections with the approved source.
- Mark only necessary changes at the final proof stage.
- List unresolved discrepancies before the proof is released.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate in English.
- Ability to spot small language and formatting errors in final copy.
- Ability to compare proofs with source material and control late changes.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home-working setup.
- Previous proofreading, copy editing, or document review experience is helpful but not required.
