We are seeking a Position Management Analyst to provide technical subject matter advice on position management practices and processes. The Position Management Analyst forms part of the Organisation and Position Management team: A critical function of the Policy, Systems, and Change Centre of Excellence in the People Strategy Directorate.
You will be service-focused and analytical in your approach to our customer’s problems while upholding best practices and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of position data.
As part of the strategic focus for this function, you will also be a key voice in educating our customers and our enabling partners to advocate for better position management practices and processes, so that there is a greater understanding of the impact position management has on our business. As such, you will be instrumental in the cleansing and standardisation of our MyPolice data.
Additionally, this specialist role contributes expert advice and support across the organisation in managing structural changes, ensuring its effective implementation and integration into our HRIS, MyPolice. So, you will also be an enabling partner to the business to help implement organisation system change processes and other projects.

Key Accountabilities:
- Proven experience providing high-quality advice and guidance to customers, peers, and key leaders.
- A continuous improvement approach to ensure the creation and maintenance of good quality data.
- A strong background in problem solving, identifying and assessing risk.
- Skilled with the ability to partner with and engage across diverse stakeholders and leadership levels.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and assess potential risk and escalate as required to Senior Leaders and teams.

Utu ā-tau | Salary –
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $75,496 and $78,910 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
