People Technology Consultant
Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of People Technology at Beca. Following the successful implementation of Workday, we're entering the next stage of our journey, focused on continuous improvement, Phase 2 deployments, optimisation, and unlocking greater value from our people systems.
We're looking for a People Technology Consultant to play a key role in the ongoing evolution of our Workday platform. You'll partner with stakeholders across People & Culture, Payroll, ICT, and the wider business to deliver enhancements, lead configuration changes, support new Workday capabilities, and help drive the roadmap for future development.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of initiatives, from embedding recently implemented functionality to delivering new modules and Phase 2 rollouts that enhance the employee experience and support Beca's continued growth.
What you’ll be doing
Every day will bring new opportunities to make an impact. You will:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, fit-for-purpose Workday solutions.
- Lead and support Phase 2 Workday deployments, including new modules, functionality, and process improvements.
- Configure, test, and deploy Workday enhancements, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and best practice.
- Assess biannual Workday releases, recommend opportunities for adoption, perform regression testing, and coordinate implementation activities.
- Provide expert support and troubleshooting, including incident triage, root cause analysis, and timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with People & Culture, Payroll, ICT, and external partners to maximise the value of the Workday platform.
- Deliver training, knowledge sharing, and change support to build Workday capability across the business.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes, improve data quality, and enhance the user experience.
- Maintain robust governance, documentation, testing, and change management practices across all Workday activities.
- Contribute to the ongoing People Technology roadmap, helping shape future enhancements and strategic priorities.
You’ll be joining a vibrant, globally connected People & Culture team. We work collaboratively, support each other, and - most importantly - have fun along the way. Bring your expertise, curiosity, and sense of humour!
