Job Title: People Hub CoordinatorRole type: Full-time, fixed term to August 2027Location: WellingtonSalary band & range: General Salary Range G: $69,011 to $80,346 depending on skills and experience About the Role - Kōrero mō te TūrangaWe have an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administration and/or coordination experience who is looking to build a career in Human Resources. As part of our fast-paced and agile People Hub team, you'll play an important role in supporting our people and delivering great service across MPI. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad HR experience across a large and diverse organisation while building knowledge across the full employee lifecycle. In this busy and varied role, you'll provide high-quality HR administration and coordination support across MPI. From onboarding new employees and preparing employment documentation to responding to HR queries and supporting payroll processes, you'll work with a wide range of people across People & Capability and the wider organisation. In this role, you will:Act as a first point of contact for People Hub enquiriesProvide HR administration and coordination support across the employee lifecyclePrepare employment documentation and support onboarding activitiesNavigate HR and payroll systems to ensure accurate processingRespond to employee HR queries and provide exceptional customer serviceContribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems About You - Mōu You'll be an organised and customer-focused administrator or coordinator who enjoys working with people and delivering great service. Whether your experience comes from the public or private sector, you'll bring strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. While previous HR experience is advantageous, we're equally interested in candidates who are keen to grow their career in Human Resources and are excited by the opportunity to learn and develop in a supportive team.
