About the job

Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

This opportunity is for a People & Culture Business Partner based in Auckland to join our wider People & Culture team. In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders to provide strategic and operational people advice that supports the achievement of business objectives. You will work across a broad range of people initiatives, including workforce planning, organisational design, employee relations, change management, leadership coaching, talent development, succession planning, and engagement initiatives.

As a trusted advisor to leaders, you will build leadership capability, guide complex people matters, and support the delivery of people strategies that enable business performance and growth. Our People & Culture team is passionate about making everyday better for our people. We work in partnership across New Zealand and Australia, supporting leaders and employees through both day-to-day challenges and strategic opportunities. We foster a collaborative, supportive environment where knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and having fun along the way are all highly valued.

Ko wai koe | About you

You are an experienced People & Culture professional with a strong generalist background and proven success partnering with leaders in a complex organisational environment. You bring sound knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and practical experience managing employee relations matters, organisational change, and leadership coaching. Knowledge of Australian employment legislation would be advantageous.

You are commercially minded and capable of balancing people outcomes with business priorities. You build trusted relationships quickly, influence confidently at all levels, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex people challenges. Practical, solutions-focused, and resilient, you enjoy working in partnership with leaders to achieve positive outcomes.

Most importantly, you are passionate about people and culture, committed to delivering exceptional service, and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organisation. You are collaborative in your approach, actively contribute to team success, and enjoy supporting a positive and inclusive culture.
