About EVT & LyLo:

LyLo Queenstown is part of EVT, one of Australasia’s leading experience creators across entertainment, ventures, and travel.

In a world of cookie-cutter stays, we’re here to change the game. At EVT, we call ourselves Daymakers — because every day is a chance to create something memorable for our guests and each other.

At LyLo, we keep things easy and fun — whether guests want to lie low or live it up. With premium pods, private ensuite rooms, and vibrant communal spaces, we’re redefining social accommodation. Join our crew and help make travel simple, social, and seriously memorable.

About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a Night Operations Agent to keep LyLo Queenstown running smoothly while the rest of the world sleeps.

Working overnight shifts (11:00PM - 7:00AM), you’ll be the face of the hotel at night — managing guest experiences, keeping operations ticking, and jumping across departments when needed. This is a full-time role working 15+ hours per week.

This is a hands-on, all-rounder role perfect for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being trusted to run the show overnight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a seamless guest experience — from late-night check-ins to early departures
  • Handle guest queries, requests, and any issues with confidence and care
  • Process nightly audits, transactions, and reporting accurately
  • Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented public areas
  • Assist with laundry operations and general upkeep of back-of-house areas
  • Identify upsell opportunities and promote LyLo’s spaces and services
  • Manage VIP arrivals and special guest requirements
  • Monitor safety, report maintenance issues, and keep everything running smoothly overnight

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in hospitality and customer service. Hostel and hotel experience is a bonus.
  • Confidence working independently and making decisions overnight
  • A hands-on approach — you’re happy to jump in wherever needed
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with financial processes
  • Great communication skills and a natural guest-first mindset

How You Work:

  • Daymaker mindset — no job too big or small
  • Calm under pressure — you handle the night shift with confidence
  • Hands-on — you lead from the front and get involved
  • Solutions-focused — you think fast and act smart

Perks from Day One:

As part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day — no hierarchy, just great benefits for everyone:

  • 50% off dining and stays across EVT hotels — QT, Rydges, Atura, LyLo and more
  • Free barista coffee on shift and on site perks
  • Perks and discounts with local tourism and hospitality companies
  • Career growth across EVT’s hotel and entertainment network
  • Paid parental leave + community and volunteering opportunities
