Network Investment and Improvement Lead (12-month fixed term)

As our Network Investment & Improvement Lead (12-month fixed-term), you'll play an influential role in strengthening Orion's strategic asset management capability.Working across the business, you'll improve the frameworks, strategies and investment approaches that support smart, long-term decisions - balancing network risk, performance, customer needs and value. We are community owned and working here means a career with meaning and purpose that makes a difference in your very own neighbourhood.The roleLead asset management maturity assessments, audits and improvement initiativesDevelop our asset management framework, strategy and improvement planShape strategies across areas such as network reliability and resilience Improve the frameworks and tools used to assess network investmentSupport robust business cases and economic evaluation of investment optionsCoordinate development and delivery of the annual Asset Management PlanBring people together across disciplines to turn strategy into sustainable improvementAbout youExtensive experience in the electricity and/or related infrastructure industryCommerce degree (business, economics, or accounting) and/or and Engineering degree (preferably in electrical or power field)A creative, innovative and strategic mindset with strong communication and leadership skillsWorking knowledge of the ISO 55000 series and its application to asset management practicesAbility to identify, design and deliver continuous improvement initiativesA collaborative, customer-centric approach with adaptability to a changing environmentWe offerYou'll find at Orion, you can come as you are and just be you.
