Our business also includes NZ New Milk, a specialised nutrition and infant formula manufacturer that produces premium products for global markets. Together, we produce some of the country’s most loved dairy brands, including Anchor, Fresh ’n’ Fruity and Mainland.
Our passionate and talented team is dedicated to nurturing the future of dairy, unlocking new opportunities, and fostering innovation in nutrition and food.
The Opportunity
Join Lactalis New Zealand on a two-year fixed-term contract, where you'll play a key role in delivering a large-scale packaging transformation programme, partnering with teams across manufacturing, regulatory, packaging, supply chain and marketing to ensure projects are delivered successfully and with minimal business disruption.
This is not a traditional marketing role. It is a business-critical project management opportunity where you will lead the coordination of packaging artwork transitions across a high-value product portfolio, working cross-functionally to protect continuity of supply and support domestic and export markets. As part of your key responsibilities, you will:
- Lead multiple packaging artwork and product transition projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and in line with project objectives
- Coordinate stakeholders across marketing, manufacturing, regulatory, packaging and supply chain functions to drive project outcomes and approvals
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers and communication plans to keep complex programmes on track
- Oversee artwork development and implementation through to commercialisation, ensuring compliance and operational readiness
- Drive business continuity while minimising risk, write-off costs and operational impacts across a significant portfolio of packaging changes
About You
You're a highly organised project manager who thrives on bringing structure to complexity and keeping multiple moving parts on track. You enjoy working cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders, and finding practical solutions in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and timelines matter. In addition to this, you will have:
- 6+ years' project or programme management experience within a large, multifunctional corporate environment
- Experience within FMCG, food and beverage manufacturing, supply chain, product development or a similarly complex operational environment
- Proven experience managing multiple workstreams, budgets, timelines, risks and dependencies simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams
- A process-driven, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for optimisation and continuous improvement
What We Offer
- Competitive pay and benefits
- Career development and progression opportunities within a global organisation
- A collaborative and supportive workplace culture where your contribution makes a real impact
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, innovation and sustainability
- Flexible working arrangements where possible
