We're looking for a Training & Capability Lead to help build capability across our manufacturing teams. Based in Taupo, this is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll work closely with frontline leaders and employees to ensure training is delivered effectively, skills are developed, and our people have the capability they need to succeed. What you'll be doing- Coordinate and drive training activities across the manufacturing site
- Partner with Production Managers, Team Leaders and Supervisors to identify capability needs
- Ensure training plans, competency frameworks and skills matrices are maintained and delivered
- Lead our Manufacturing Excellence programme
- Support onboarding and training for new employees
- Track training completion, compliance and competency requirements
- Facilitate practical, on-the-job learning and development initiatives
- Work with frontline teams to embed safe work practices and operational excellence
- Continuously improve training processes and identify capability gaps

What's more important is your ability to work alongside operational teams, build relationships, and help people develop their skills. We're interested in people who bring:- Experience in a manufacturing, production, warehousing, engineering, trades or operational environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to influence and work effectively with employees at all levels
- Experience coordinating training, competency programs, workforce development or operational improvement initiatives
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- A practical, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for developing people
