Kitchen Hands & Catering Assistants – Christchurch

The Recruitment Network (TRN) is looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands and Catering Assistants to join our casual team in Christchurch.

We are seeking candidates with good weekday availability who can also be flexible and available for last-minute shifts when required. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and wants flexible casual work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
• Washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas
• Supporting chefs and catering teams during service
• Setting up and packing down catering areas
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous kitchen hand, catering or hospitality experience preferred
• Good weekday availability, with flexibility for last-minute shifts
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• New Zealand work rights
