About the job
RHCNZ Medical Imaging | Pacific Radiology, Bay Radiology, Auckland Radiology
RHCNZ brings together Pacific Radiology, Bay Radiology and Auckland Radiology, delivering imaging, reporting and contract services across Aotearoa, backed by our shareholding radiologists. Behind that sits a workforce of radiologists, clinical teams, frontline staff and corporate teams who all need to hear from us in different ways.
That's your job. And you'll shape how it's done.
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with our CEO and Executive Leadership Team, helping shape communications that inform, engage and connect our people. From major organisational changes to celebrating everyday successes, you'll know how to find the right story, choose the right channel and bring people with you.
This role is as much about engagement as communication. You'll help create the moments, stories and experiences that connect people to our purpose, strengthen our culture and ensure our teams feel informed, valued and part of something bigger.
You'll be:
- Partnering with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to shape messages, share organisational priorities and bring important conversations to life
- Leading communications through change, consultations and the projects that move the organisation forward
- Running our internal channels, from the intranet to newsletters to leadership updates, and making them genuinely useful
- Writing the content that connects people to why their work matters
- Teaming up with brand and marketing team on media, reputation and external messaging
- Lifting the communication capability of our leaders right across the motu
- Helping bring our values to life through communications, recognition and engagement initiatives that build connection and belonging across Aotearoa.
- Planning and delivering organisation-wide events, forums and engagement initiatives that bring our values and culture to life across Aotearoa.
Who we're looking for
Someone senior enough to advise a chief executive and hands-on enough to build a newsletter. You've done several years in internal communications, and you've guided leaders through complex or regulated territory before.
You're energetic, curious and always looking for new ways to improve how people connect with information. You know which channel suits which audience. You're confident across Microsoft 365, especially SharePoint and Teams and using Canva to bring key messages to life. And because this role runs solo, you can prioritise ruthlessly and say no when it counts. You've successfully built engagement programmes, recognition initiatives or culture-building activities that connect people to organisational purpose and improve the employee experience. Healthcare experience would be a welcome bonus.
Why you'll want to work here
Patients are our why. Manaaki is at our core. Our team is our greatest strength. Excellence is our ambition. These aren't posters on a wall, they're how decisions get made.
You'll have real influence, real autonomy, and work that reaches people helping New Zealanders get answers about their health.
We welcome people of all gender identities, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, disabilities and religions, and we're committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and better health outcomes for Māori and Pacific peoples.
