About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Oracle Business Support Analyst to join our national Financial Services – Business Support team. This is a senior support role responsible for providing cross-functional application and business process support for our national Oracle FPIM solution across Health New Zealand.

You'll play an important role in keeping this critical system operating effectively, supporting Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Inventory Management teams across the organisation. You'll coordinate support activities from initial monitoring and triage through to investigation, root cause analysis, resolution, testing, implementation and closure.

A key part of the role will be troubleshooting system issues, managing incidents and problems, supporting system changes and testing, and coordinating user access, security and Delegated Financial Authority requirements. You'll work across organisational and system boundaries, bringing together business users, functional specialists, technical teams and external partners to find solutions and keep stakeholders informed.

You'll also use data and system insights to identify trends, root causes and opportunities to improve the way we work. Through continuous improvement, user support and knowledge sharing, you'll help build confidence in Oracle FPIM and promote consistent, best-practice business processes across Health New Zealand.

About you

You'll be an experienced support or business analyst who enjoys solving problems, working with people and getting to the root cause of issues. You'll bring:

  • A diploma or degree in IT, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • At least three years' experience supporting a complex, cross-functional ERP environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle or a similar ERP system, such as SAP or PeopleSoft.
  • Experience with business and data analysis tools, with strong Excel skills and intermediate to advanced SQL capability.
  • An understanding of finance and management accounting principles, delegated financial authority, and supply chain and inventory management processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear business language.
  • The ability to proactively manage competing priorities, work under pressure and take ownership of issues through to resolution.

Experience across ERP processes such as Purchasing-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Budget-to-Report or Plan-to-Report would be advantageous. Experience with Qlik, Snowflake, healthcare environments, business improvement initiatives or requirements gathering would also be valued.
