About the Role:

Qube Ports NZ is seeking experienced Log Handling Operators to support our Wellington Port operations on a casual, as-required basis. We're looking for operators with proven experience on Wheel Loaders and/or Wheeled Material Handlers, with a strong background in log handling and export log operations.

Location: Wellington Port

Status: Casual position, as and when required basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate wheel loaders, material handlers and terminal tractors at the Wellington port.

• Safely arrange, transfer, and load logs within the yard and loading out to ship.

• Communicate clearly with the team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience operating wheel loaders and/or material handlers.

• Strong background in log handling.

• Willingness to train across multiple machines.

• Positive, safety-focused attitude.

• Restricted NZ Driver’s License minimum.

• Ability to work 12 hour shift work.
