Enterprise Systems Manager (17139)

Freightways Information Services Ltd (FIS) is the internal shared services provider of information technology and advisory services to the Freightways Group. We partner closely with our business units to deliver modern, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that support Freightways’ operations across New Zealand and internationally.

Join our team and lead four systems specialists and help shape how Freightways supports its essential business platforms.

Reporting to the CIO, you’ll bring together a team covering finance, people and health and safety systems. You’ll work with business owners and suppliers to keep services reliable, secure and improving.

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop the team, with clear priorities and balanced workloads.

• Manage suppliers and coordinate resolution of service issues.

• Keep maintenance, upgrades and required controls on track.

• Build shared knowledge and backup coverage to reduce reliance on individuals.

• Agree practical improvement plans with business owners.

The portfolio includes Dynamics 365, Workday Adaptive Planning, SuccessFactors, health and safety platforms, and legal and governance systems. Our new billing platform and rules engine will join the portfolio following project handover.

What you’ll bring

• Previous people management experience.

• A background in IT services, business applications or enterprise systems.

• Confidence working with suppliers and non-technical business owners.

• Enough technical understanding to assess workloads, risks and proposed solutions.

You don’t need to know every platform we use. We value practical experience and welcome different backgrounds and career paths.
