The Opportunity
Our client is a respected engineering consultancy seeking an Engineering Geologist to join their Christchurch team.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with 1-3 years' experience looking to develop a career in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology while gaining hands-on field experience across a diverse range of projects.
The Role
- Geotechnical site investigations
- Hand auger and Scala testing
- Clegg Hammer testing
- Construction observations and monitoring
- Coordinating fieldwork with clients and subcontractors
- Preparing geotechnical and construction observation reports
- Assisting with project delivery, proposals, and quotations
About You
- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
- 1-3 years' relevant industry experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enjoys practical, hands-on fieldwork
- Eager to learn and develop within a collaborative team environment
