Deputy Campus Principal (Palmerston North)

Are you an experienced educational leader with a passion for student success and a commitment to high performance? Our Palmerston North campus is seeking a dynamic Deputy Campus Principal to join the leadership team.

The Role The Deputy Campus Principal supports the Campus Principal to achieve strong outcomes for students, staff, and the wider school community. The role includes coordinating senior year pathways, academic performance processes, homeroom and year group performance, and line management of staff. It combines 0.50 FTE teaching with 0.50 FTE leadership. Success in this role requires fostering a positive campus culture, promoting academic excellence, and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives aligned with OneSchool Global values and strategic goals.

• Coordinate NCEA programs, including guidance, proctoring, and support accommodations

• Oversee academic and pastoral care through effective, data-informed interventions.

• Support staff through collaboration, observations, and quality assurance processes

• Act as a point of escalation for behaviour and maintain a strong leadership presence.

• Contribute to professional learning, staff induction, and strategic planning.

Essential Requirements

• Current Teachers Council of Aotearoa New Zealand registration

• Proven leadership experience, for example, DP, HOD or Head of Year/Dean

• Strong knowledge of NCEA and experience in modern learning environments

• Strong Digital competency

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

• Eligibility to work in NZ

• NZ Teaching experience
