Compliance Manager – Part-Time Are you passionate about creating a safe, compliant, and positive workplace? We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to lead our workplace safety and food safety initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our store meets all legislative requirements and fosters a positive culture of safety and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain health and safety systems.
- Oversee the Food Control Plan, ensuring compliance with Foodstuffs South Island and external standards.
- Engage and train staff and other stakeholders in health and safety and food safety practices.
- Support employee return-to-work processes following injury or illness.
- Maintain accurate safety and food safety records.
- Provide timely information and training materials to department managers and store owners.
- Promote a strong safety culture and positive work environment.
- Adhere to store policies and contribute to team wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills
- Food Safety Programme experience and training.
- Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, reporting).
- First Aid Certificate.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High level of initiative and commitment.

This role reports directly to the Owner Operator. This role is based on a 30 hour a week roster with hours to be discussed at the interview. Applications close on 25th October 2026.
