About the opportunity We are looking for a Compliance Engineer to join our Engineering team in Christchurch on a 14-month fixed-term opportunity. Reporting to the Test and Compliance Team Lead, you will work across the product development lifecycle to ensure our world leading power electronic products meet national and international regulatory requirements.Working closely with engineers, project teams and external partners, you will:- Develop and maintain compliance procedures across Enatel's product range.

  • Plan and complete product compliance, verification and validation activities.
  • Ensure products meet market-specific regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Identify compliance risks and contribute to practical solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct pre-compliance testings to identify and address issues before testing by compliance labs.
  • Work with regulatory bodies, laboratories, suppliers and customers to achieve compliance outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance, testing and quality processes.
  • Support the ongoing development and enhancement of existing Enatel products.

About you To be successful in this role, you will be someone who has:- Proven experience working in engineering compliance.

  • Knowledge of national and international regulatory standards and product compliance requirements such as UL, RCM, CE and FCC.
  • A qualification in electrical, electronic, mechatronics or software engineering.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Confidence working independently while building effective stakeholder relationships.
