Job Description:Ready to make moments? You will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic team. The food you prepare, cook and serve makes our guests smile and wanting more. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will ensure consistent quality, food safety, and efficient day‑to‑day operations of the kitchen.

  • Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, allergen management, and HACCP practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider kitchen team to meet service timelines for restaurant, bar, in‑room dining, and events.
  • Contribute creative ideas for menu development and seasonal specials within brand guidelines.
  • Train and mentor junior team members; foster a positive, inclusive, and safety‑first culture.
  • Maintain equipment and workspaces to a clean, safe, and compliant standard; report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Support inventory control, monthly stocktakes, and cost management initiatives.
  • Have the ability to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and late nights
  • Have the availability to work a rotating roster across 7 days a week

Qualifications:What you will bring with you?

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen preferably in a hotel environment
  • Experience managing an assigned section of the kitchen
  • Exceptional organisational and guest service delivery skills
  • Experience in hotel or high‑volume, quality‑driven environments
  • Hospitality Certifications are preferred but not required
  • Thorough understanding around kitchen hygiene, environmental and food safety standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to effective communicate to a wide diverse audience
  • Ability to work well in a busy environment, while maintaining high standards.
