Barista / All Rounder

Meeso Coffee is an independent café in the heart of Auckland CBD, known for our specialty coffee, signature drinks, matcha and welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Front of House / Barista to join our team in a fast-paced café environment.

Availability during weekday shifts (Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–6:30 PM)

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and serving coffee, matcha and signature drinks to a consistent standard
• Providing friendly and attentive customer service
• Taking orders, handling payments and operating the POS system
• Assisting with basic baking, food preparation and presentation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming café environment
• Assisting with daily café operations, including opening and closing duties
• Working collaboratively with the team during busy periods

About you

• Previous hospitality or café experience is preferred
• Barista experience and confidence using an espresso machine are highly valued
• Basic baking or food preparation experience is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
• Someone who takes initiative and can work independently when needed
