Associate Charge Nurse Manager – Cardiothoracic/Respiratory Ward
- Dunedin Hospital
- Fixed term 0.3 FTE role available until 23/04/2027
- Salary Band –$118,941 - $130,866 per annum prorata

About the Role
- Coordinate resources to meet identified needs of patients and staff
- Manage staff and patient flows on a shift-by-shift basis, both across the department, between wards and ICU
- Supervise of nursing staff and provide clinical leadership
- Establish and maintain a high standard of patient focused care within the allocated resources
- Contribute to the department's risk minimisation activities and service activities, fostering a quality improvement culture
- Role model and provide staff with clinical educational support

- A clinically focused and skilled practitioner, who can exercise independent nursing judgement, apply advanced assessment skills.
