Hands-on warehousing, stores and stock management roleWork in a supportive, collaborative and values-led driven Varied role combining physical work with administration Mō te tūnga | About the roleThis is an opportunity to be part of a great organisation where you will support our team at Hawkes Bay Regional Prison, HBRP.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Receiving and checking incoming goods against invoices or packing lists.Placing items in designated storage areas.Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.Keeping track of stock levels and locations.Performing regular stocktakes.Assisting with data entry and paperwork.Unloading deliveries from trucks and other vehicles.Inspecting items for damage or discrepancies.Reorganizing storage areas.Operating forklifts or pallet jacks to move items.Ensuring safety procedures are followed.Interacting with suppliers or customers regarding deliveries.Supporting with general administration as per Administration Support Officer Job Description.Some heavy lifting required.This is a role with high expectations and performance standards, requiring the successful applicant to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines and operational requirements Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceExperience in warehousing, stores and stocktaking.A good level of physical fitness, with the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.Manaaki and respect in all interactions.Strong administration and organisational skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.Resilience, adaptability and a practical approach to problem-solving.A collaborative approach and confidence working with people from all walks of life.High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive or personal information.A current forklift licence is desirable but not essential. Ngā painga | The benefitsThe midpoint of the salary range is $ per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $64,717 - $68,434 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
