About the Role

Take the next steps in your sales career

If you're looking for more than just another sales role, this is your opportunity to join one of the world's leading SaaS companies, sell solutions that genuinely improve the way people work, and be rewarded for your success.

As Account Executive, you'll own the mid-market territory in New Zealand, build relationships with senior business leaders, and help organisations transform their HR, payroll and workforce management through UKG's market-leading HCM solutions. Backed by strong marketing, pre-sales and leadership support, you'll have the tools and autonomy to make a real impact.

With flexible hybrid working, a collaborative culture and one of the highest employee engagement scores in the business, this is a place where high performers build long-term careers.

What you'll do:

  • Build and grow your own pipeline through strategic prospecting and new business development.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations that uncover business challenges and demonstrate clear commercial value.
  • Present compelling solutions and ROI to HR, Finance and executive decision-makers.
  • Own opportunities from first conversation through to close, partnering with internal specialists to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Consistently exceed sales targets while maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce.

What you'll bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in SaaS sales, ideally within HCM or similar technology.
  • A proven track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with a genuine desire to learn, grow and continuously improve.

Why UKG?

  • Uncapped earning potential with a highly competitive commission structure.
  • Sell industry-leading HR, payroll and workforce management solutions that make a real difference for customers.
  • Career development and progression within one of the world's largest SaaS organisations.
  • Flexible hybrid working that supports work-life balance.
  • A high-performing, collaborative sales culture where success is recognised and celebrated.
