The role:

We’re growing our warehouse team and have 6 opportunities available at our Pokeno site – 4 Warehouse Operators and 2 Senior Warehouse Operators.

These are hands-on roles supporting the safe and efficient movement of materials and finished products across our manufacturing site. You’ll be involved in receiving, storing, picking and dispatching goods, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, safety and cleanliness.

A current forklift licence and proven forklift operating experience are essential for all positions.

You will also need to be flexible and available to work a rotating roster of day and night shifts.

More specifically, you will be involved in:

  • Loading and unloading trucks and safely moving products around the warehouse.
  • Operating a forklift to stack and move pallets of powders and canned products.
  • Picking stock accurately in line with internal orders and production requirements.
  • Receiving and dispatching goods, ensuring products are checked for damage and handled appropriately.
  • Preparing orders for safe and timely delivery.
  • Recording stock and product movements accurately using warehouse and ERP systems.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.
  • Working closely with the wider warehouse and production teams to meet daily targets and deadlines.
  • For Senior Operators, taking greater ownership of warehouse activities and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

What you will bring:

  • Previous warehousing or logistics experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • A current forklift licence and proven forklift operating experience – essential.
  • Availability and flexibility to work a rotating roster of day and night shifts – essential.
  • Good understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A reliable, team-focused approach and willingness to learn.
  • For the Senior Warehouse Operator roles, additional warehouse experience and the ability to work with a high level of ownership.
  • Experience with an ERP or warehouse management system, particularly Microsoft Dynamics NAV, would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work in a physically active role.
