Unarmed Guard (Local Guard Force)

Continuity Global Solutions in connection with our in-country partner, October Protection, are seeking experienced unarmed guards to support the Local Guard Force ("LGF") contract at the U.S. Consulate in Auckland, New Zealand. Guards shall be required to perform the responsibilities set forth below:

• Performing security duties at fixed, walking/roving locations
• Providing assistance to local authorities in thwarting criminal and terrorist acts
• Performing access control duties to limit entry to authorized personnel or visitors
• Operating of walk-through metal detectors, hand-held metal detectors, electronic hydraulic barriers, and special monitoring
• devices

Requirements

Qualified personnel must:

• Have successfully complete primary school
• Have the ability to demonstrate command of the local language preferred but not mandatory
• Possess English language
• Preferred qualified personnel should have minimum of five years’ experience in the military, police, or security guard force with addition on training provided by the local employer
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 30-60 lbs
