The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Join our Feilding Housing and Recovery team and be an integral part of promoting wellness. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support 22 tāngata whai ora to live independently and learn the skills they need to move back into the community.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Administering medications safely
- Document accurately using the DAP framework
- Provide personal cares if needed.
- You need to be motivated to support day shift colleagues with tasks assigned by team coach.
- Confidence in undertaking welfare checks in people’s units,
- You must cover the whole housing and recovery environment, during the night, regardless of the weather.
- You must be able to manage complex situations with support and communicate effectively with the Pathways on-call team, Police and Mental Health Crisis Team.
This role is working 40 hour per week role, working Sunday to Thursday, 7am – 3:30pm.
You | Mōu We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery focused way.
You will also:
- Hold a current full drivers’ licence
- Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
- Have a Level 4 Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or a recognised equivalent
- Experience working in the mental health and addictions sector
- Have knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti of Waitangi.
