More specifically, you will be involved in:

  • Leading manufacturing costing and inventory management, including standard costing, inventory valuation, provisions and manufacturing variance analysis.
  • Supporting month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting across manufacturing and supply chain, providing clear analysis of performance and financial outcomes.
  • Identifying and tracking productivity and cost-saving opportunities, working with operational leaders to quantify benefits and drive continuous improvement.
  • Providing financial support for CAPEX, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including business cases, financial modelling, investment reviews and benefits realisation.
  • Working closely with Operations and Engineering teams on capacity planning and investment decisions, ensuring financial discipline and strong commercial outcomes.
  • Driving improvements to finance processes, controls, reporting and analytics, partnering with IT and data teams to enhance systems and ways of working.

About you:

  • Significant experience in operations or supply chain finance, ideally within a manufacturing environment, with strong cost accounting and commercial finance experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated experience across manufacturing costing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to confidently partner with and influence senior leaders and operational stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across Finance, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Experience working with ERP and EPM systems; Oracle experience would be advantageous.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a natural aptitude for problem solving, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • A CA, CIMA or CPA qualification and an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.

We are committed to enhancing our team members' work-life wellbeing with leading policies and practices on flexible work, parental leave, family care, and family wellbeing. This role can be worked flexibly, ensuring a healthy balance between work and personal life. Our family-friendly culture is designed to support workforce participation, career development, and mental health and wellbeing.
