Mo te tunga | About the role

The Storeperson takes charge of inwards goods, unloading, sorting and pricing ready for display. This includes testing electrical items. The role is not for the faint hearted. It's physical as you will be on your feet all day, lifting heavy items like sofas and tables and keeping things tidy and attractive for customers. You will help load and unload the truck and very occasionally, go out with the logistics team to collect donations from people’s homes, and to transfer goods between stores.

This is a permanent full-time position working Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am – 5pm.

You are a people person who relates well to all walks of life. You enjoy variety and will roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. When it’s quieter, you will take initiative and lend a hand where it’s needed. You take pride in your work and have high standards of presentation and customer service.

Our successful candidate will:

• Be physically fit and capable of moving and lifting heavy items
• Have experience of or willingness to be trained in electrical testing
• Have a great customer focus and can-do attitude. Retail experience preferred
• Have a clean full NZ driver license
